A patent has finally been granted to a firm in Tulsa that covers the transmission of applications to a wireless mobile device. In other words, anyone who buys or sells apps is now subject to a fee. While this will apply to Apple, it will also apply to Android systems, and all smart phones. It will probably affect MS too.

A US patent only covers the US. He has twelve months to begin filing in every other country in the world! And of course there are the counter claims in all those other countries. He'll need a few more millions invested if he wants a global patent and then millions of dollars for patent insurance as without it a patent is worthless.

he basically just bent everyone over and gave them the shaft in the area of applications for anything that is used on the phone or a tablet has to have a fee given to him and inturn the it passed on to us the buyer..

so when you buy a application his fee is now part of the application cost ..
