Perhaps he means the batteries. Those represent number of forum replies. More replies equates to more batteries.

It's the polls symbol - the 3 horizontal bars (orange green and red) - which appear top right of the post.

I haven't spotted the batteries yet [ "Batteries not included" :) ].

How to sync photos

I learned the hard way, too. There are several elements of syncing that are not obvious to us lowly users. It is an example of the fact that Apple software is not so great, as many Apple users claim, while badmouthing Windows. Read the following link, passed on to me by "IDontUnderstandMyIpad":

[How To] Sync photos to your iPad with iTunes

I have over 5000 photos that I wanted to sync. Had some of the same problems you described. It is a long, and painful process. You can read my thread in the previous pages.

Good luck! The process outlined in the link does work.

syncing pictures

Deleting the "ipad photo cache" in the My Pictures directory and starting over worked for me....so far. Thanks to whomever suggested that fix.

My problem even weirder; Exactly same system on desktop and laptop (Win 7 64 bits); the photos are exact copies;
No problem with synching on laptop after deleting the photo cache;

On desktop however no sucess; always same weird message about writing file ..
