Problem with Kindle app for iPad

    The updating of the Kindle app for iPad to its newest version 4.18 (date March 7th) cannot be cmpleted, the app freezes half done, and it cannot be deleted either. Presumably the same issue applies to iphones. The Amazon' s reply is: address Apple! Can you help?

    The problem is likely not with the app or the update. The Kindle app on my iPad and iPhone updated with no problems. Have you tested your internet connection? A weak internet connection can cause app update problems.

    Mine didn't complete updating at first, but a few hours later, it worked. Maybe give it another try now. It it still doesn't update, and your internet connection is good, go to Settings - General - Storage & iCloud Usage - Storage - Manage Storage, and remove the app there, then reinstall it.
