Problem with half done update !!

I am facing with a half done update for few applications due to net problem. Those could not be updated later nor deleted even the apps not starting.
Need advice...

Force close apps with problem you won't lose data. Reopen , update when net connection is good. Force close in user guide. I'll explain if need be.

Sorry just saw your request. Force close in offending app - hold sleep button till red slider appears then hold home button till app closes . Beyond that ,a reset is both buttons for 10 seconds
