problem viewing my imacs itunes library on my ipad2

When i enter ipod on my ipad2 i cannot see the library of my imac although it is home shared and i have entered the codes to my ipad2
Why?

Do you get a little house icon next to where it says library in the iPod app? If so press it and select your mac library. If you don't are your mac and iPad using the same network? Try rebooting both to see if that enables homesharing.

The solution was silly (I was silly to be honest) I was using wrong username
