Problem buying books from iBook store

Greetings,
I've successfully purchased a couple of books on the iPad from the iBook store, but today it's acting strange. it just goes to a page in the book that looks like ruled lines and just doesn't process. I've rebooted, nothing has changed. Any clues? Thanks!

Does it do this will all books or just one in particular?

I was able to back out of the book(s) and purchase from the main store screen, but the option to purchase the book from sample book is not working in any of the books. Thanks for your reply.
