I ordered a book yesterday...released today. Trying to download, but each time I select the download button, a message tells me that I have already purchased the book and to press the download button...and round and round.
I have seen that others have experienced this problem but have not seen a resolution. All suggestions are appreciated. Thank you.

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

Ive never bought a book here but try closing the app completely and then relaunch it. From the home screen do the four finger swipe up or double press the home button to reveal your multi task bar. These are all the apps that you have opened at one time. Long press the app until it jiggles and a red minus sign will appear above it. Press the minus sign, this will close the app, not delete it, now press the home button to return to your screen. It's also a good idea to close all these apps, as it helps the iPad run smoothly. Let us know how you go.

Thanks for the welcome and the tip. Did as you suggested..it then showed the word " paused" over the book. Then the same thing happened when I again tried to download...the endless loop.

Well that is strange then...do a restart on your iPad. Press and hold the power off button, the one at the top right. You will see a slide appear to power off, slide this and the screen will go dark and a Whirly will appear. When the Whirly disappears your iPad is now off. Press the power button again until the Apple logo appears, this will take a few seconds and your iPad will restart. You should restart your iPad occasionally also as it will keep it running well. Now see if it is operating

In the meantime I've moved your thread to our Help Section where hopefully someone who knows about this will chime in with the answer.

Problem fixed. I synced the iPad to my computer...no fix. Then went into apple book store and selected the same book then selected download. Book showed up on computer. Then went back to iPad and did download, and it worked. Go figure.
