iOS developer FiftyThree has issued an important update to its popular drawing and illustration app Paper, now allowing iPad users to access for free every tool and feature previously locked behind an in-app purchase.
Prior to this update, users who wanted more in-depth editing and drawing tools had to pay up to $3.99 for the "essential tools" package. This is a much welcome update, as the latest 2.3.1 version brings all of these options to every Paper user, allowing them to draw, sketch, outline, write, and color at no additional charge. Here's what the company said:
FiftyThree also sells a popular companion stylus called Pencil, and recently Apple has started selling it in its retail locations. So it seems that with this move, FiftyThree is looking to get more app downloads which, in the end, could contributed to more pencil purchases.
FiftyThree’s release of free tools takes place in the same time with the shipping of Pencil Gold, the latest addition to FiftyThree’s line of digital stylus pens. Go ahead and follow the link from below to have a look at the app on the iTunes store.
