We’ve seen Apple’s iPad being used in different environments, such as engineering, surgery, army, basketball games, school and many other places. Now, according to NewsDay, Republican Nassau County Executive Edward Mangano was sworn in for his second term using an iPad with a digital Bible because officials were unable to locate a physical copy of the Bible.

Addressing a standing room audience at Bethpage High School, where he graduated in 1980, Mangano took the oath of office on an iPad featuring a text of the Bible when a printed copy could not be located.

Mangano defeated Democratic challenger Tom Suozzi in November and was sworn in at Bethpage High School on Long Island where he graduated in 1980. What do you think should be used for such occasions? An iPad app with a digital version of the Bible or a printed copy of the Bible?
