Pocket Gamer reports that the iOS Pokémon Trading Card Game Online app has just received its first update, entitled the XY—Phantom Forces expansion.
If you want to unlock theme decks and five-card booster packs from the XY—Phantom Forces expansion, you can now redeem your Trainer Tokens in the in-game shop. You can also use the codes from the code cards that you’ll find in the physical XY—Phantom Forces booster packs and theme decks to unlock a digital booster pack from the same expansion.
Other new card sets supported by the update include the XY Trainer Kit—Bisharp and Wigglytuff two-player set, and some promo cards.
Code cards found in physical XY Trainer Kit—Bisharp and Wigglytuff boxes can also be redeemed in the shop to unlock a digital version of the deck.
The update also includes various other improvements, such as the ability to use Expanded format decks, and the addition of an automatic login facility.
