Please help not asking for password

My daughter Made a mistake and clicked on a buy app and it didn't ask for my password, please tell me how to password protect this

Don't let her use your iPad 5 mins after you bought an app.

It times out very quickly.

You can go into Settings | General | Restrictions and shut off access to things like iTunes and the App Store and only turn them on when you need them.

But it use to ask me for a password before purchasing apps
