Playing music on Ipad

I used Itunes to download music to my Ipad, but I can't seem to find it anywhere on the Ipad

Is there an App I have to download to play the tunes and if so, what is the name of the App.

Use the Music app. The iTunes app is only for purchasing. The Music app for playing the content.

Or the Videos app if you happen to get a Movie or TV show.

You could use iPod app to play the music, if you get some videos/tv shows by accident, then could use OPlayer Lite, it can play video and music.
