Photo takes forever to load in iPad1 email

When I receive a photo in my iPad1 email system, it takes forever for the photo to appears.
If I send simultaneously the same photo to my iPad1 and my iPhone4 the photo appears instantly in my iPhone4. In iPad1 the text associated with the photo is loaded correctly but I have to wait for the photo to finally show up ( sometimes 10 minutes occasionally longer).

Is there some configuration that I could modify to solve that problem.
Any ideas that could help solve the problem would be much appreciated.

Is this a common problem with the iPad 1 ?

Interesting but I've never had the issue, I use both yahoo and gmail and the photos load just fine. I don't have an answer more a comment to your question.
