Thanks Kim.:D

I am using Goodreader and I have tried a free app, (can't remember the name)

On my iPhone 3gs, I open the same files.

On Google reader support page, it says that when I get a blanc page, it is a JPEG2000 file, that I am trying to open !!!:(

Any ideas ?

OK - GoodReader is good!

In GoodReader go to 'Settings' - how have you got 'Pre-cache adjacent pages' set? If it's 'On' - turn it 'Off' and see if that fixes the problem. If GoodReader tries to pre-cache adjacent pages (for faster page turning) it can have a serious impact on RAM usage.

If this doesn't work, try opening the PDF files in the iPad's native iBooks app to see if the problem of blank pages is there too.

I have both Goodreader and PDF Expert. While Goodreader displays very nicely I find PDF Expert to be more useable. I have a hell of a time navigating Goodreaders' menu options so perhaps it's just me.

I agree with that - the UI is certainly not the best thought out feature of GoodReader. But you persevere because of the underlying functionality!!
