Hi!
This is my first time posting on this forum.

I am having an issue with PDF expert. I use it a lot for annotations on PDFs (keeping notes). Lately, it has been crashing (freezing until I quit out of it), and when I reopen all my annotations are lost. Has anyone had this problem? Or know of what could be causing it?

Thanks!

If you have not done so, try these usual fixes.

When you have problems with an app it's a good idea to clear it from RAM.

Close/Clear the app: With the problem app closed, double tap on the Home button to get the multitask bar. Tap and hold on any icon in the bar until they jiggle, then tap the minus sign on the problem app. This will remove it from RAM and insure a clean start the next time you launch the app.

If that does not work try a restart,

Restart: Hold down the power button until the power off slider appears. Slide it off. When the iPad finishes shutting down, hold down the power button again until the Apple logo appears. Apple recommends you restart the iPad at least once a month.

and then a reset if that does not work.

Reset: Hold down the power and home buttons until the Apple logo appears. The iPad will reboot. This usually takes a bit longer than a restart.

These steps do not work. I've been resetting for two weeks, tried uninstalling apps and reinstalling through App Store (free apps like iBooks, Google Play Ebooks, Perfect Browser, Google Earth, Facebook, Skype, and the Weather app that I worked so hard to install). These are free apps, but will commence to launch, then stop in the process and quit without completely launching. I'm not sure why, but I suspect it was the mobilesubstrate update from Cydia that I installed before all of these problems.

I can't help much with jailbreak related problems. No experience. The only thing can suggest is deinstalling, one at a time, those tweaks that you added at about the same time as the problem occurred. That would include updates.
