I have an Air 2 with iOS 8.1.2 Taig jailbreak. I installed password pilot and am 100% sure I am typing in the correct password. When I try to install an app from the store it will not type in the correct one

I don't believe Password Pilot is working on 8.1.x yet. It certainly wasn't working on 8.1.1 the last time I checked, but to be honest, with TouchID on the Air2, I personally don't have any need for this tweak any more... Sorry.

Since you have an iPad Air 2, may I suggest you look at the tweak "iTouchSecure for iOS 8" ($4.99, USD).

Yeah, it's a bit pricey, but it allows you to use the TouchID in places you couldn't before, such as the first time you use the AppStore or 1Password. Here's a screen shot of the tweak on Cydia:

As you can see, it does a lot. I use it on my iPhone 6 Plus and have been for a while. Works a treat! When I go to the AppStore and it's for the first time after reset/restart, I can use the tweak by holding my finger on the Home button and it'll fill in the AppStore password for me. Very convenient.

No, it doesn't negate the need to always use the password like Password Pilot, but as f4780y pointed out, it's easy to use the TouchID feature of the phone/iPad. 'Sides, I like the security better (always need TouchID).

I can't use it on my original Air (no TouchID), but it's supposed to work on iPads with TouchID. In fact, I'm going to have to play because I see at the very bottom - "Password autofill also works on devices without TouchID." Hmmmm.

Anyway. Just thought I'd share an alternative that works for me...

1Password does this, for most things. It will unlock with your Touch ID, is available as an extension in Safari, and has direct integration in several third part browsers.

Not the cheapest solution, but still one of the very best. No jailbreak required.

I don't know if this will help or not but I use a tweak called SwipeExpander it is a keyboard tweak which adds a lot of things to the keyboard one of which is the ability to assign strings to specific keys which can be triggered by swiping up or down on the key. I have several of my passwords assigned to different keys and it works great. Iirc its 2.50, hope that helps.
