Paragraph breaks

I need help figuring out how to enter a paragraph or line break in my school discussion forum. Every time I post something, each separate line runs together. Is there some app or some formatting command that will help with this? I have pages and even copy and paste from that will not work.

That is hard to say. Different forums have different codes that you can insert. However, losing paragraph formatting is a common behavior of older sites that allow limited html code in the post.

Try putting a <p> tag at at the end of each paragraph. Proper code would surround each paragraph with <p> paragraph </p>, but almost all modern browsers will honor a single <p> tag.

If that works you could probably use other basic html tags for formatting.
