[FONT=&amp]Paper Monsters is a really adorable platform game that is currently sitting at the top of the Paid iPad Apps chart, and has clearly caught the public’s imagination, boasting classic 2D side-scrolling gameplay with some really beautiful and inventive 3D environments. Not since Metal Gear Solid has a cardboard box had such star billing in a game, as the hero, the aptly named “Little Box Guy†makes his way around a world made of paper and string, populated by equally colourful paper critters that look just about as delightful as anything you’d find in a Nintendo game. Apple has already awarded Paper Monsters the accolade “iPad Game of the Week†and it’s easy to see why. According to the game’s developers, Crescent Moon Games, new levels are on the way soon if you just can’t get enough Paper Monsters, and you’ll soon be able to play it on your classic arcade iCade cabinet if you have one too, as Crescent Moon will be adding iCade support in the near future.
