Pane Freeze

My yahoo mail screen on ipad2 is frozen. When I open email I can see the new messages on the left. However the pane to the right has an old message in it and is frozen. The pane will not acknowledge a finger touch. I try to open new mail, however the screen keeps the old message. I tried closing the email account and reopening, however the problem continues. Please help.

Try doing a reboot of your iPad. Hold down the home button and power button at the same time till the iPad powers down and the Apple logo shows. Let it restart and then try your email.
