Optimum online is crap!

So i found the new optimum online app to be quite entertaining, since i have a flat screen plasma in my living room and no cable box. I decided to go buy an HDMI digital adapter and watch live TV for the first time on my couch. Since i am an optimum online customer i already am paying for the service so why when i attached this tine $40 adapter it WON'T WORK!!

Every other app works just fine and this app tells me "No video output is supported" !!!!! CRAP!!!!

Optimum for iPad was working great for me for at least a month. I could watch live tv,etc. All of a sudden this week it stopped working. I am connected to my home network & logged in. Has anyone else had this issue?

So i tried this app on my JB iPod2 and when I tried to log in I got a message that I'm using an unauthorized version of Apple software (the JB I guess). Any ideas on how to work around?
