Does anyone know anything about openappmkt?
Just took a look at it and I'm not sure that i want to try to install anything. I don't know if these apps are legit, cracked, pirated? If its legit then it looks interesting.
I know that's why I'm hoping someone can tell me something about it... Some you have to pay for....
Well, not really, but would like to subscribe to this thread because the website does look interesting (check HERE) - seems legitimate but not sure if these are 'open source' type apps or whether these are approved by Apple? Did not really look into the latter relationship @ the moment, but will await some more posts - thanks for bringing my attention to this site - Dave
The IOS apps on OpenAppMkt are all WEB apps, therefore they are freely distributable over the web without the need to use Apple's infrastructure. It is no different to using a website. The apps are built with HTML and other web technologies. This was the ORIGINAL app model for the iPhone when it was first released. Official native apps developed using the Apple SDK came later...
So it's more like a book mark then a app?
Yes, it's a bookmark to a web application.
