Yesterday, Microsoft has issued new updates to its official OneNote apps for iPhone, iPad and Mac devices, bringing some useful features. Here's what the OneNote team said on its official blog:

"Fall is here—at least for those of us in the northern hemisphere—and the days are getting shorter. That means you’ll have to finish your work more quickly if you want to get outside and catch a few rays of sunshine before it gets dark. We want to help, so today we’re releasing an update for OneNote on iPhone, iPad and Mac with new features that make it even easier for you to get organized and be productive!"

There are two different versions of OneNote on the iTunes Store, one for iPad owners and one for iPhone users. This is really useful for iPad owners as they get a specific app that doesn't compromise on important features. Here are the new changes for iPad owners:
  • Insert Files from Other Services - the ability to insert files from other cloud storage services on iOS 8 has been added. You just need to Tap Insert > File to browse through your files from iCloud and any other file storage apps that you have installed on your iPad.
  • More Password Protection Support - it's now possible to create new password protected sections, and change or remove the password for existing protected section.
The iPhone version is receiving the same iPad features but has also been improved with the following specific features:
  • Support for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus
  • Touch ID support
  • Organize Pages - Now you can move and reorder pages in a section as well as manage subpages.
Go ahead and follow the link from below to download OneNote from the iTunes Store.
