I am looking for an application, like Dropbox or SugarSync which gives the following functionality:
One folder on PC which files are added to, folder is automatically synchronised to iPad and Acer Tablet with Android.
The key feature is that any files/folders added to the folder on the PC need to be pushed to the iPad and Android tablets in full so that as soon as they are away from the WLAN (neither have 3G) a folder of images can be viewed in full locally without the need to download anything.
Dropbox has been tried but doesn't fully download a local copy of the files and falls over when it cannot connect to the internet.
SugarSync is 'better', but the iPad version doesn't automatically Syncronise and on both the iPad and Android app opening images from a 'Magic Briefcase' seems to have a long delay when flicking through images. In dropbox it's near instant in displaying images.
Really looking for a reliable solution for this.
It doesn't have to be a cloud based sync at all, even LAN based is fine, the key thing is when the PC and the two tablets are on the network that they all mirror the one folder fully offline from the network.
Look forward to any suggestions.
Thanks.
