I made a spreadsheet in excel but then transferred it to my ipad. within numbers I wanted to add a pie chart. I do that. I select the two cells I wanted. It makes the pie chart and shows the two percentages.

My question, it says "Untitled 1, Untitled2" for those two pieces of the pie. How do I edit the untitled part

if i tap the title section I am able to edit the title of the pie chart but it wont let me edit the untitled cells that the pie chart is referencing

If I remember right those titles are taken from the column headers of the table itself. If your table has no header, try adding one and giving the columns the titles you want.

If that does not work take a screen shot of what you are trying to do and post it here. Or the spreadsheet if you want. Be sure there is no private or sensitive data fist. (You'll need two more posts before you can do attachments or links). I'll see if I can figure out what it going on, though I have not spent a lot of time playing with the charts I do like playing with Numbers.

Played around a bit myself, and it seems to work.

BTW, if you tap on the gear icon at the top right while you are adding your cells you can choose between the column and row headers by choosing to plot columns or rows as the series. That's a new and much improved feature. Used to be you could only use the column headers.
