Hi
I have tried all ways! I enter a date - 1 feb 2015, fill down and get 1 feb 2016, 1 feb 2017....
What I want is 1 feb 2015, 2 feb 2015, 3 feb 2015.....
Any ideas or help appreciated. I have searched the forum and the manual - no luck so far!
Cheers

First cell enter 1 feb 2015. 2nd cell under the 1st enter 2 feb 2015. Highlight both cells and drag the fill handle. Should fix your problem.

Make sure the first cell is formatted as a Date/Time cell. If it's a text cell then the behavior you're seeing would be normal.

You can do this either by making sure your enter the information using the Time keyboard, or by changing the date cell's format after the fact by selecting the cell then using the Brush icon's Format tab.

This the Date Time keyboard.

Many thanks both, all sorted! It was the date/time format that did it!
