how do I save notes on my ipad 2.
There is a pad of lined paper called lists? I think! There is an app called Writer that is free. Or used to be a couple of yrs ago! You can write and save any motes you have by copy/pastes.
I think the name might have changed. I'll try and find it?
Hmm, it's not there anymore. But there's one called notes 'n more that looks like you can save anything in, including photos! And voice memo's! It must be free because I have it in my cloud of apps!
Notes is one of the native apps that comes with the iPad. There is no 'Save'. Notes are automatically saved as you create them. If you have an account that supports the Notes app (iCloud, Google, Yahoo), those notes will also be saved to that account; for syncing purposes.
You also have the option to email an note.
If you need more power, flexibilty or security (as in less likely to lose content) there are a multitude of third party note apps. My favorite is Evernote.
You are probably thinking of the Reminders app. It is for creating and using todo lists.
