Good evening all, new member to the site and also new iPad 2 owner. Just had it a few weeks, still finding my way around and hope to find help and advice from this site.
Part of the reason I chose the iPad 2 was to view pictures from my camera while away from the computer. I purchased the Camera Connection Kit to transfer pictures from my camera to the iPad, the problem I'm having is that the SD Card Reader works fine but when I insert the Camera Connector I get the message "This Accessory is Not Supported by iPad". Really need this to work because the camera I'm using is a Sony and doesn't have a SD Card so no way of viewing the pictures. Have the latest update, iOS 5.0.1
Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

Regarding your issue when you insert the camera connector you already have the cable connected to the camera too? Your camera needs to be on. I have a Sony, it has a smaller card than an SD but mine works fine when connected by the camera cables. Try a reset and see how you go. Hold the power off button the one on the top right hand side, and the home button simultaneously, keep holding them in and you will see the power off slide appear and disappear, wait until you see the Apple logo appear before releasing the buttons. It will take a little longer for your iPad to start. Let us know how you go.

Well the only other thing I can suggest is to clear out your multi task bar and close all your apps completely.
To do this do the four finger swipe up or double press the home button to reveal your multi task bar along the bottom. It will show all the apps that you have opened at one time or another. Long press an app until it jiggles and a red minus sign will appear above it. Press the minus sign, this will close the app, not delete it. Close all these apps check and see if it is operating now and let us know.
