Hi, I'm a new iPad (1) and iPhone 4 user. They're fun so far, except both like to frequently drop off of my home network.

Is there an age limit :p for jailbreakers? Which device should be jailbroken first if I get up the nerve??

    Hi there and welcome.

It's rumoured that no one over the age of 172 has ever jail broken an iPad! You may want to browse our hacking section and have a look at some of the sticky threads there for help.

There is lots of good advice and info on here plus plenty of members all too willing to help with any problems.

Remember, search is your friend.......and please don't forget to read the rules http://www.ipadforums.net/forum-rules-help-info/2119-forum-rules-everybody-please-read.html & hacking section rules for all you jail breakers (and would be jail breakers) http://www.ipadforums.net/ipad-hacking/2892-hacking-section-rules-please-read.html

Thanks for the welcome, Gabrlel and Sweet Poison. Ya, I have a lot of reading to do.
It might be the IPad that eventually gets the jail break, I want to wait for iOS5 to see how that works, first. The phone needs to be reliably working all the time due to medical software usage.
