Hi all,

I have a 3G air card that I use with my laptop. I want to find out if it is possible to use it with the iPad for connection to the internet when no wifi connection is available.

If that is not possible, is there a way to set up my iPhone 3GS to serve as a wifi connection?

Apple now has that Iphone Tethering plan... That might work, but you lose unlimited data plan...
Yes. I called AT&T about the tethering plan yesterday. It would work just fine, but since I have the air card and the associated 2-year obligation for it, it appears that I am stuck. I asked AT&T if I could swap the air card plan for the tethering plan and the answer was no.

Most places I go have wifi, so I will struggle onward.
