No Video on Video Call

I had a Skype call this morning and, try as I might, I could not send video. I could see the caller okay but I could get no response from either camera. The best I got was a black window where I would normally see myself, and the caller got a black screen.
Camera works okay with both front and back. Video didn't.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I took a quick trip at their support page and saw the same issue/complaint. One of the replies said that they had managed to get ahold of the developers; who said it was a known issue and should be fixed in the next update.

When will that update happen? No idea.

One other person suggested going to Settings > Privacy > Camera and making sure Skype has permissions. Even if it does, you might try turning it off, reseting the iPad, then turning it back on.

Reset: Hold down the Home and Power buttons until the Apple logo appears.
