SOLVED No space available? Very confused.

I synced my iPad up to iTunes this evening and a warning came up on the pad about lack of space. I had several gigs of space free. Now it claims to have 0 free space.

Not sure what to do, my brain says rest but I'll lose heaps (cant sync).

When you connect to iTunes, can you see the bar at the bottom of the iTunes window that tells you how the memory being used is divided between the various categories? What does that tell you? Is there a significant portion of the memory devoted to 'Other'?

Tim cheers for the reply, tbh I hadn't thought to check it. I went for the scratch head and scream at it for 45mins option. Got paranoid and virus scanned the PC (to be safe, its clean), whilst doing that I played with the iPad some more and found the issue.

Solved it. Seems that during the sync something went wrong, the result was that it 1.5x duplicated all my apps. The original apps were nothing but grey squares however a second page contained all the duplicates ready to be re foldered.

This struck me as odd, anyone else had this type of issue?

When you go to edit your post, you can edit the title too. Just put SOLVED in the front of your original title and you're good.

BTW, glad to hear you got it fixed - though I have no clue what was going on. Sometimes the iPad just ... well ... does it's own thing.
