No soundt

Hi Forumites
Last couple of days I find that when I play YouTube videos, I have no sound whatsoever. I have checked the volume control both on the ipad and the vol control on the YouTube screen. Does anyone out there have any suggestions? Any help would be greatly appreciated

In case you selected "Mute" for your side switch in General - Settings, make sure it's toggled to the side where you don't see the red dot below it.

If you didn't choose this, look at your Control Center. The bell sign somewhere in the middle of it should be gray and not white.

In Settings - Music, select "Off" for Volume Limit.

My new air 2 suddenly lost all sound, for no apparent reason. All settings were unchanged, and the mute on the control panel was set to on. The only thing, after power off, resets etc, was to reset all settings. This did the trick and sound is now OK, but of course I had to do a lot of work to get all my settings back to where they were. Still no idea what caused it.
