'No sender' emails and how to get rid of them on ipad mini

Hello. I am new to this site and would appreciate some help with an issue that has just come up with my ipad mini.I have recently been getting these mysterious 'No sender' emails which, as they have no sender and no message in them, seem to be impossible to get rid of. Any ideas on how to delete them, and where are they coming from?
