Nick in aluminum frame

Over the last few months, I have successfully put two small nicks in the aluminum frame on my iPad (1st gen).

I know what you are going to say, get a better case, and you would be correct. Let's deal with that in another thread.

Here is my question. What can I use to smooth out the two nicks?
