I an new to this so bear with me!!! I lost my sound on my iPad so I was trying to get help. Any suggestions?

If that doesn't solve your issue it's always worth actually using the search function to solve this issue, or any other issue you have in the future rather than opening a new thread. If you have checked that you haven't done anything to the side switches as mentioned in the link you've already been given then we need to know whether you have a Bluetooth keyboard. Sometimes this can cause people to lose sound as they've accidentally triggered a key in the keyboard. Good luck!

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

Along with the good advice above also look at the control which is found when you bring up your multi task bar. Do the 4 finger swipe up or double press the home button and you will see your multi task bar along the bottom, swipe right as far as you can go and you will see a volume control slide here. Also another place in Settings - General - Sounds. Let us know how you go.
