Hi I'm Dominique. A mother to four and a lover of technology! I've had the iPad 3 since July 2012 and I also had an iPhone 3G in the past, but later converted to the Samsung galaxy note 2. I love both technologies and dislike both for different reasons. Technologies that create an easier way of doing anything in my life is precious to me. Glad to be here with others alike!

Hi Dominique. Welcome to iPF. Good reasoning there. No matter how good these things are, there will always be things that one platform does better than another. On the whole, I find iOS very compatible with the uses I have for it, but that said, Android clearly has things going for it too. You may be interested in some of our sister forums, where Android devices are discussed, although we have no issues with discussion of differences here. The other forums would probably serve to help you get the best out of your Galaxy Note.

It won't be long before the release of iOS 7, which will be completely compatible with your iPad, so interesting times are ahead.
