Thanx for having me. I'll try to be a quiet fixture of the woodwork and only reply when I think I can realistically help. Basically, my 10 year old begged for an iphone or ipad so I gave her the latter knowing they are both good tools of technology and knowledge. How much? I keep learning everyday and so does she - as do her younger bro and siss. I understand gps and gis and even trig. And old programming but this thing with 3g and wireless pdf printing is really efficiently consolidated.... And always full of new ways to learn old tricks. Got the basics down of synching to pcs and buying books, music and some movies, now just want to understand apps that do things pcs and macs do, ie. Desktop publishing, storing waypoints, spreadsheets, all cool stuff.

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!

Hope to hear from you soon with your thoughts about the iPad.

Have fun and enjoy your iPad
