Hello, I'm new to both this forum and the iPad (although I have an iPod Touch). I joined simply because this is the first forum I found where a) a question I had (asked by a current member) was answered and solved my issue and b) the person answering the question didn't treat the questioner like an idiot. So I wanted to thank the answerer.

I received my iPad 64GB as a bonus from my employer this holiday season (I just about fainted as I have been wanting an iPad for ages!). I also have a 32GB iPod Touch that goes with me everywhere, and a 17" Macbook Pro from which I run my little online empire.

I have a very mobile lifestyle and the iPad is going to let me get away from the computer but still keep in touch. I have a wifi model only, but that's all I need since I can use my MPB to create an ad hoc wifi network from my 3G Sierra wireless USB modem.

Finally, I am convinced that iTunes and the App Store were designed by Microsoft infiltrators at Apple.

I look forward to combing through the archives as questions about my new iPad crop up. Glad to be here.

There is a wealth of information already here in the many threads we have so doing some searches will answer most of the questions you have. If then you cannot find the answer you are seeking then by all means post your question. There are many friendly and informed members here only too willing to help you.
