new user for ipad2

    hi everyone
    Just purchased new ipad2 16g wi-fi in apple store.
    my wife and I simple basic users. Will check email, browse net and watch movie.
    1st question come to my mind is how to watch avi. I'm gettign mix information that newd to use special software to convert etc..
    Can anyone help with this usue?

    If you are talking of viewing .avi files that you'd get in a e-mail, take a look at the app OPlayer HD. I've had great success with it (as in, it's opened every .avi file that's been e-mailed to me. You can get the lite (read: free version) to try it out to see if you like it.

    Of course, if that's not what you mean, never mind... :D
