I just joined the forum. I am looking for a solution to a problem I have encountered. I did a copy paste of a web address the other day. Now, every time I try to do another copy paste I get the same web address. How can I clear so I can use again. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

The way it's supposed to work is that when you copy something else, the new copy should automatically delete the previous copy.

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

Yes it is how Scifan says, a new Copy replaces the old. If it's a 'live' link you should get up the Option box with an option to Copy, otherwise you need to make sure that the small blue dots cover your whole link.

The IPad Forum is a community of members from all walks of life and from all over the world coming together to share our experiences and to help each other learn about this wonderful piece of technology the Ipad. If then you cannot find the answer you are seeking then by all means post your question. There are many friendly and informed members here only too willing to help you.

We also have our own App - It is a very simple app to navigate.

I know, but unfortunately it doesn't. It did work that way until a week ago and now, I can't get rid of the link. I have tried a "hard" reboot as other threads suggested but that doesn't work either.

Thanks for your input.

Have you tries a hard reset? Press and hold both the home and power buttons until the Apple logo appears on the screen, then release both buttons. When the iPad restarts, try cutting and pasting again. This may or may not work.

Thanks for your response. I did that a couple of times to no avail.

How about going to: Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will not lose any data from your iPad if you do this.
