The new iPadForums.net website has been designed from the ground up to work perfectly from any mobile, tablet, or desktop computer using the built in internet browser. I just joined the forum. I am looking for a solution to a problem I have encountered. I did a copy paste of a web address the other day. Now, every time I try to do another copy paste I get the same web address. How can I clear so I can use again. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

The way it's supposed to work is that when you copy something else, the new copy should automatically delete the previous copy.

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

Yes it is how Scifan says, a new Copy replaces the old. If it's a 'live' link you should get up the Option box with an option to Copy, otherwise you need to make sure that the small blue dots cover your whole link.

I know, but unfortunately it doesn't. It did work that way until a week ago and now, I can't get rid of the link. I have tried a "hard" reboot as other threads suggested but that doesn't work either.

    Thanks for your input.

Have you tries a hard reset? Press and hold both the home and power buttons until the Apple logo appears on the screen, then release both buttons. When the iPad restarts, try cutting and pasting again. This may or may not work.

Thanks for your response. I did that a couple of times to no avail.

How about going to: Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will not lose any data from your iPad if you do this.
