I am rod Spencer from midland Texas. This iPad is my first apple product and I am struggling with it! I have had a pc for 15 years and I also work on pcs as a hobby. I hope that I can learn a lot from this forum!

Welcome to the forums. I'm sure our members can help with your problems, just have a search around and see if others have solved them already. If not, then post your questions in the relevant section of the site.

Welcome to IPF! I was a noob not too long ago and found a couple things very helpful - there's an App called AppStart (you'll find it in the AppStore if you do a search) which gives you the basic rundown of the iPad (how to navigate and a few good apps to have depending on what you're using your iPad for.) And in iBooks, Macworld has a free users guide for both iPad and iPad 2 - I'd download it and give it a read through! Good luck! :)

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!

Hope to hear from you soon with your thoughts about the iPad.

Have fun and enjoy your iPad

If you don’t already have it you can download a copy of the iPad manual for free.
