New to forum

[Purrson]

Have had my iPad a year this coming December and love it. Google led me here when i was searching for how to turn off auto correct. I typo as well as using some made up terms, which are known as purrese by online friends, I have always used this nickname since being on line.
Use it mostly for enjoyment rather then work. Another issue i want to figure out. How to update to OS 5 as have
slow connection, have tried on my computer, left it on all night, and got message did not update due to slow
connection.

This is my first apple device, fell in love playing on uncles whom then gifted me with one last year. Have used
Desktop PC's since late '90's.
My iPad is one of the originals. Sister has the iPad 2.

Looking forward to learning what i dont know as well as to questions i do not know i have.

I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!
