New to the world of iPad forums. Loving the knowledge in here and enjoying my iPad. Only complaint is the 3G download limit and wifi restriction some apps have. Part of the reason I got the iPad was because the dsl wasn't setup in our area yet. Cable not an option, hughesnet wouldn't setup. If anyone knows a way around the limit please share? Currently downloading 4.3.4 version so I can jailbreak and see if that helps open it up a bit.

Thanks!

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!

Hope to hear from you soon with your thoughts about the iPad.

Have fun and enjoy your iPad

If you don’t already have it you can download a copy of the iPad manual for free.

Please read the rules too!!

If it's an iPad2 you have, then only iOS 4.3.3 can be jailbroken and then, yes, you can change the download limit. But the current iOS is 4.3.5, which cannot be jailbroken and, unless you have saved your 4.3.3 blobs, there's no way to jailbreak. Read our hacking section for more details - in particular, the 'stickies'.
