New IPad Convert

Yay! My hubby's an avid poker player and he's planning a trip to Vegas in June. He also needs to keep in daily touch with the stock market. He plans to get an ATT 3G but, of course, he will use wifi whenever he can. Question: Can he connect without wifi to pay for 3G for the first time?
Also does anyone have recommendations for a good way to carry IPad to gaming tables. It would mean "unobtrusively" and on his person at all times. He would leave the table or room to use it, naturally.

I am sure he can pay for 3G without wireless. As for carrying it to the tables he might just want to leave it in his room or something because casinos do not really allow you to carry bags on the floor, I guess it depends on where he is going and there rules.

If he gets a bag thats over the shoulder, he could sort of used that but have it going from one shoulder to the other side, this way the bag is secure on his persons and he would know if someone was trying to get into his bag. But to save all the trouble id probally do what 'herbal' suggests and just leave it in the room. Safer.
