At the end of the previous week, my colleague Maura was informing you that Apple has removed the original iPad mini from sale at its website and also from the Apple store. And now, according to some fresh leaked images, published by Twitter user OnLeaks, it seems that the Cupertino company is already busy working on the upcoming iPad Mini 4.
The alleged iPad Mini 4 case reveals some clues about the tablet’s design, and by the looks of it, just as it is pretty much expected, there could be some minor changes. As you can see from the images from below, as well, the iPad Mini 4 seems to be nearly identical to its predecessor.
The single distinguishable difference seems to be the fact that the iPad Mini 4 case doesn't have a cutout for the mute switch. As all the dimensions of the previous three generations of the iPad Mini remained the same, that could be the case with the upcoming one, too.
Apple will most likely come up with incremental upgrades once again, such as a bump in the processing power, improved battery life and so on. If Apple also introduces a bigger-sized iPad Pro this fall, it will be interesting to observe if covering all size factors will increase sales.
