Just got a new cover for my pad that supports auto on /off.

Doesn't seem to work. Is there a setting I need to set to make this happen.

Already did. Didn't fix it. Any other ideas would be appreciated.

I decided to remove it from the Case and reinsert it. That action fixed the auto turn on off, but did not fix the auto turn on

Thanks

After contacted apple service and doing a system rest, this issue is resolved.

Thanx for everyone's suggestions.

Well , looks liked I typed to fast. After using the pad for a short period of time after my reset, it no longer shuts on or off when using the cover. ( even though auto on off is set to on. There must be some conflict with one of the Pps I downloaded or something. This is the first real problem that I have not been been able to figure out with this apple device. Coming from windows , I got used to some quirky stuff, and I was very impressed with the way this device worked. But I think I've actually uncovered a bug of some kind that will not be fixable.
