Good evening all from the UK.

Complete novice with the IPad, took the plunge and went for the 32gig 3rd generation. I have 2 years experience of the IPhone but as suggested a complete novice to the IPad. Any hints and tips are very welcome. What I have learnt so far is the IPad is a must have.

Please can somebody advise what the best software to use is for Microsoft Office? I know this is against apple religion but this is the main office software we as at work. I would prefer to trial a free version of something first before I dedicate to a paid version.

Many thanks in advance for all your help.

Hi Rhino-I don't know of any free versions. I use Pages which works great when converting to Microsoft Office document. The only close one that is free and can be used in a pinch to serve as a simplified word processor is Evernote that i know of. Hope that helps, sure others will pipe in.
