You are using the iOS version of Netflix not the web client correct?

When an app behaves strangely it is best to close it completely and then relaunch it. From the home screen do the four finger swipe up or double press the home button to reveal your multi task bar. These are all the apps that you have opened at one time. Long press the app until it jiggles and a red minus sign will appear above it. Press the minus sign, this will close the app, not delete it, now press the home button to return to your screen. It's also a good idea to close all these apps, as it helps the iPad run smoothly, I do mine every night. Check and see if it is operating now, if not a restart is in order.

Restart: Press and hold the power off button, the one at the top right. You will see a slide appear to power off, slide this and the screen will go dark and a Whirly will appear. When the Whirly disappears your iPad is now off. Press the power button again until the Apple logo appears, this will take a few seconds and your iPad will restart. You should restart your iPad occasionally also as it will keep it running well. Now see if it is operating. If not a reset is the next step.

Reset: Hold the power off button and the home button simultaneously, keep holding them in and you will see the power off slide appear and disappear, wait until you see the Apple logo appear before releasing the buttons. It will take a little longer for your iPad to start. This is a reset.

When an App or your iPad begin to behave strangely these are the first steps you should do to rectify it. Let us know how you go, good luck!!

Thanks a lot for everyone's help. I have done all of the above and still no luck with audio for Netflix. I have removed the app and reinstalled it as well with no improvement. The app works fine on my iPhone and I don't understand bc it was working great until Saturday. Thanks again.

I misunderstood the no volume statement. I thought you were receiving that error....like a data volume.

Your problem is audio....

Ok common bug.....

In general settings set side switch to mute. (options are auto rotate or mute)

Then physically set the switch to mute the iPad.

Then physically set the switch back to unmute the iPad.

Test netflix....I believe you will find it working.

I'm sorry but this didn't work either. I'm at a loss on how to fix this problem.

Also look at the control which is found when you bring up your multi task bar. Do the 4 finger swipe up or double press the home button and you will see your multi task bar along the bottom, swipe right as far as you can go and you will see a volume control slide here. Also another place in Settings - General - Sounds. Let us know how you go.

Please do not post twice on the same issue, as well as being against Forum Rules it divides the info and makes it confusing to other members. We are also trying to help you here, your other post has now been deleted.

I've moved your thread to our Help Section where I hope other members will chime in.

Thanks for help. Also didn't mean to post twice new to this all.
