Hi and welcome to the Forum!
To send a photo in an email, you can do it from the email or photo app. When in Email, compose your message then go to the Photo app and select the photo you want by long pressing it until a copy tab appears, press this, return to your email and long press below your message, and paste and your photo will appear. From the Photo app select your photo, when it loads look top right for a box with an arrow, press this and a menu box will appear to email photo as well as other options.
