Music from Macbook to Ipad

Hello I`m new here but I think I`ll be posting a lot.


I`m trying to transfer music files from my Macbook Pro to my wife's new Ipad.

I Used Itunes to do this as explained at the Ehow link in the beginners FAQ thread.

I exported one playlist.
The sync seemed to go fine.

Where is the music I transferred?

It`s not showing up in Itunes and I can`t find anything that resembles a file manager on the Ipad to look for it.

Help?

It is confusing that iTunes on your computer is both the portal to the iTunes store where you buy content such as music, movies, and of course, apps (but not books!) and also play your music and podcasts and such, but on your iPad, the iTunes app is only where you buy the content, but the iPod app is where you play the music.

Does the music I bought through Itunes show up in the Ipod app?

I can`t check it out right now as my wifes home and it`s stashed.

Kinda jonesing to play with it.

Answered my own question.

All music shows up in the Ipod app.

I`m assuming that all apps work this way.

A bit of a learning curve but in the long run I think it`s a more straightforward system.
